Housing in Paris \ Fresh Architecture
Beautiful low-cost housing building located on the Place Stalingrad in Paris.
Difficult to access due to the place itself and the many streets pouring in trafic and mayhem, plus the presence, above, of a metro line and construction and renovations continuously going on.
A sixth image, showing the east façade, was done already but as a test only as the renovation of a facing building is preventing it... Next summer.
Main view of the north and north-east sides ; early morning by necessity.
When the sun hits the varnished tiles, the result is just plain darn magnificent : matte yet shiny, colored yet discrete.
The very present surroundings : metro line above, trafic lights all over, sidewalk posts aplenty...
Almost Escher-like, as one passer-by noted : the perspective changes completely as one turns around the building.
The one difficult shot showing the two parts as what they are : the joining of two streets.
